Career:
Ms. Buswell has 1 year of professional experience as a geologist providing field geo-science support for drilling activities at the Hanford Site.  She has gained considerable experience in drilling, completing, and developing groundwater monitoring wells, and is currently providing geo-science support to characterization boreholes drilled at vadose zone trench and discharge sites.  She is trained to perform field work in both hazardous and radioactive conditions and also in the collection of vadose and saturated zone sediment samples for lithologic and chemical analyses.

Ms. Buswell is also experienced in authoring/reviewing RCRA and CERCLA documentation; including waste data quality objective reports, descriptions of work, drilling-contract statements of work, and post-drilling summary reports.

Ms. Buswell’s previous experience includes working as a research assistant to the Pacific Northwest Geodetic Array (PANGA) in Ellensburg, WA.
