Career:           

Mr. Hocking currently serves as Lead Field Geologist for the GRAM, Inc. - Richland Office.  Mr. Hocking has 12 total years of professional experience; 4 years with the U.S. Forest Service (Regions 2 and 6) and 8 years that pertain to direct environmental, geological and hydro-geological projects within RCRA and CERCLA waste sites. 

This experience includes acting as analytical, technical, geological and hydro-geological support for Hanford site contractors and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory throughout the Hanford site’s many different areas, as well as a few off-site locations (e.g.: Burbank Fuel Depot, Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Reactor D&D site).

Mr. Hocking has extensive experience with drilling programs and varied methods of drilling (i.e.: mud rotary, air rotary, cable tool, etc.), as well as other field related projects; and is a knowledgeable and proficient field geologist, as well as an experienced analytical sampler and chemical field lab analyst with strong writing abilities and a wide-ranging computer skill set with emphasis on presentation graphics and spreadsheets.

Mr. Hocking has also been involved in the preparation of peer-reviewed CERCLA RI/FS documents for Operable Units in the 200-West and 200-East Areas of the Hanford site.  These documents include feasibility studies and remedial investigation reports, as well as a number of other supporting documents (i.e.: Data Quality Assessment, Data Quality Objectives, etc.).
